Alex joined the Planning and Budget Office in 2023 following several years of work in university and nonprofit finance and budget. He studied Fine Art and later Public Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University. An avid reader and lifelong learner, Alex splits his free time between numerous hobbies and interests, riding and racing bicycles, and enjoying the company of his husband Henry and their Great Pyrenees dog, Berry.
